Mahina’s brand was outdated and lacked connection to the Hawaiian Islands of their origin, or to young women who were shopping in their boutiques. After gaining an understanding of local Hawaiian culture, and Mahina’s demographic, we were able to create a design solution that spoke to the island and the lifestyles of the women who live there. From logo ideation, to photography & retail direction, we created a consistent, all-encompassing identity for one of Hawaii’s fastest growing retailers.
